Pat graduated from Adelphi University in Garden City New York in 1994 with a Masters of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Before joining Happier At Home Care full time in December of 2020 he served the elderly population in Long Term Care facilities while assisting with the start up of the business on the side. As a Speech Therapist he evaluated and treated patients suffering from speech/language, cognitive, and chewing and swallowing disorders. During this time he was also the Director of Rehabilitation for two separate Long Term care facilities. This provided him with leadership experience that he now uses at Happier At Home Care.
Throughout his professional experience he has developed a heightened understanding and compassion for the needs of our communities aging population. Even under high stress situations, he was able to act quickly and effectively to save lives, further proving his capability to care for those in need. He now uses those experiences to enhance the lives of the clientele of Happier At Home Care.
Part of Happier At Home Care’s mission is to make sure no client goes without the care they need and Pat makes sure that mission statement is upheld. In times of need, Pat is always willing to step up and care for his clients when one of their caregivers is not available. This is not something that many business owners are willing to do and it shows how dedicated he is to his business and his clients.
