Lisa graduated from Columbia University where she received her Masters Degree in Social Work and Science. During her career spent as a licensed Social Worker specializing in Geriatric Care, she helped countless numbers of patients navigate through our complicated healthcare system. From admission to discharge Lisa worked diligently to assure that her clients received the best care possible and maximize their healthcare benefits.
Lisa owned and operated Senior Care Options for thirteen years through which she developed relationships with local referral sources such as physicians, durable medical equipment companies and in home therapy agencies. These connections are still held today and are used to help the clients of Happier At Home Care. As someone who has already owned a business, Lisa understands what it means to be a leader and how to take care of her clients as well as her employees.
The picture on the front of Happier At Home Care’s brochure is that of Lisa and her grandfather. Lisa personally cared for her aging and ill grandfather before his passing which enhanced her passion for caring for those in need. Lisa takes this same personal approach when it comes to the care of her clients and takes the time to build relationships.
Her exposure to a variety of healthcare settings has shown her the importance of quality care which is why Happier At Home Care was established in 2017.
